Following the historical footsteps of Zagreb and Zagorje

The "Old Village" Kumrovec Museum is a large area that depicts how a Zagorje village from the beginning of the 20th century looked like, and it is also the birthplace of Josip Broz Tito. In the Peasants' Revolt Museum, you can find out more about the important revolt and the great Matija Gubec, while you can learn more about one of the most famous European sculptors of the 20th century in Klanjec, a village where Antun Augustinčić was born, and in a gallery of the same name. Pregrada Municipal Museum "Dr. Zlatko Dragutin Tudjina" is a place where you can learn a lot about numismatics, mining, geology, and pharmacy in the Croatian Zagorje area throughout history. When in Zagorje, you can enjoy the Radboa Museum and the Presečki Oldtimer Museum, it is up to you to choose the most interesting ones and organize a day trip from Zagreb.
